Is Professional Carpet Cleaning Worth it?

Dirty Carpet from Child Dirty Shoes Fort Collins

Let’s face it… life is busy in Fort Collins Colorado and we aren’t always thinking about our carpets and the effect they could have on our families health.  Keeping carpets clean is important for many reasons, not only for you and your families health but also for the appearance and cleanliness of your home.

Your carpet is under your feet and everything in the home eventually settles there.  Vacuum cleaners pick up only a fraction of what is settling into your carpet pile.

Did you know that nearly 85% of the dirt the carpet holds is buried deep within the carpet pile?  Carpet can actually trap its own weight or more in dirt, grime, and soil and an average living area can contain as much as 150lbs of dirt lying deep within the carpet.

Regular Professional Carpet Cleaning for Your Fort Collins Home Can Ensure:

Increased life expectancy

Regular professional carpet cleaning can help to increase their life expectancy beyond that of what it would have been without.

A Healthier Environment

Professionally cleaned carpets can mean complete removal of general dust, dander, soil and accumulated debris, leaving them as good as new.

Elimination of Mites & Bacteria

Professional cleaning helps to reduce the risk of allergies, mold and many other potential problems and ultimately make your home safer to live in.

Stain Removal

Professional carpet cleaning can ensure the removal of most stubborn stains and dried in spills leaving your carpet in like new condition and fresh and clean.

Improved Appearance

Even the oldest of carpets and furniture can look brand new leaving you with that new fresh feeling again.

Deodorazation

Most odors can be eliminated by general professional cleaning. We offer special treatments to ensure fresh, clean smelling carpets.

Vacuuming is Not Enough

Regular vacuuming is a necessity to keep your Fort Collins carpets clean and hygienic, but this only cleans the surface of your carpet, the bit that you can visually see.

Some of you may use other equipment to help maintain and preserve your carpets, like rented shampoo and steam cleaning machines. Most domestic vacuum cleaners, shampooers and steamers (even the more powerful ones) still don’t have enough power to get rid of the deep-down dirt and germs. Here at HomePro we have professional equipment and trained technicians with years of experience and know how, when and where to use the right carpet cleaning procedure for the job.

A message regarding COVID19 from HomePro

We have been monitoring the Coronavirus carefully, and prior to the increase in cases, we began taking precautions, such as the use of 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer, limiting physical contact (ie handshaking), sterilizing vehicles, etc. We take our role in the community seriously and try to make every effort to ensure our clients are taken care of but also that our technicians are safe as we enter our clients’ homes and businesses.

It is imperative that we begin to implement additional precautions for the safety of our community, staff and clients:

1.) If you are sick or have been exposed to the Coronavirus, please cancel your appointment by calling us at (970) 528-5339.

2.) Please avoid physical contact with our technicians during the time of the appointment. We will greet you with a warm smile, but not a handshake at this time.

3.) Please wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds prior to our arrival for our scheduled appointment. With your permission, our technician will wash their hands as well. Please instruct them to do so, otherwise they will use the company-provided Clorox hand sanitizer. We have always utilized booties when in clients’ homes, but at this time all our technicians wear clean gloves as an additional precaution.

4.) Each technician has been equipped with Clorox hand sanitizer (over 70% alcohol) as well as Clorox wipes in an effort to minimize risk. Masks can be utilized upon request, however the CDC does not recommend masks for healthy individuals. Masks are only recommended for those that are sick.

5.) If a technician is sick, they will be asked to stay home and get well; therefore, we ask for your patience and understanding in case an appointment must be rescheduled.

We thank you in advance for your patience during this most challenging and unprecedented time.
